Veggie & Meat Stir-Fry!

Hearty. Healthy. Unquestionably delicious! This vegetable & beef stir-fry is a quick fix for lunch or dinner when you’re in a crunch for time! Low in fat & sodium, while high in protein & nutrients, this recipe submitted by Stephanie Jones of Baton Rouge, LA is definitely a Tasty25 favorite. What you need:

2 Cups of lean stew meat

4 Cups of mixed vegetables

1 Cup of water

1/2 Cup KC Masterpiece marinade (Flavor of choice)

1 Tablespoon of salt

1 Tablespoon of basil

2 Teaspoons of oregano

1 Teaspoon of pepper

1 Teaspoon of extra-virgin olive oil

Directions: (Approximate cook time: 15 minutes; Serves 2-4 adults)

  1. Place salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and olive oil in a bowl; Put stew meat in the bowl, and mix until meat is evenly seasoned.

  2. Place seasoned meat in a skillet; Cook on medium-high heat until meat is brown.

  3. Add water, vegetables, and marinade to browned meat.

  4. Cook uncovered on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve hot; Eat and enjoy!
