Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie!

Try this cold & refreshing Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie sent in by Tasty25 contributor Marg Craig of Baltimore, MD; It takes less than 5 minutes to make, has less than 250 calories per serving, and works perfectly as a snack, breakfast, or even dessert! With Spring upon us, and heat of Summer quickly approaching, it’s a delight for us to share a recipe like this with everyone in our food conscious community. What you need:

2 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter

1 Cup fat-free vanilla yogurt

Cup 1% low-fat milk

2 Ripe bananas (Sliced)

2 Tsp. honey

1/2 Tsp. vanilla extract

12-16 Ice cubes

Directions: (Approximate cook time: 5 minutes; Serving size – 4 adults)

  1. Place all ingredients, except the ice cubes, into container of electric blender; Blend on high until smooth.

  2. With blender running, add 2-3 ice cubes at a time through center opening in the lid, until all ice cubes have been added.

  3. Blend until smooth; Serve immediately.

  4. Eat & enjoy!
