On Saturday May 5th, Tasty25 Magazine hosted it’s first ever food tasting party -using YOUR healthy & delicious recipes! The party was held at the Editor of Tasty25 Magazine’s house, and the guests were exclusively invited by our magazine staff. One by one they arrived, expecting to see & taste great food while having a good time with us on this Cinco de Mayo Saturday; the pressure was on for us to deliver!
In order for our guests to get a true sampling of what Tasty25 Magazine’s healthy & delicious recipes are all about, we decided that we absolutely had to do 2 things: 1)We had to make a 3 course meal featuring an appetizer, entree, and dessert from the recipes submitted, and 2)We had to make all of the recipes ourselves…IN FRONT OF OUR GUESTS! With this in mind we accepted the challenge, and here’s how it turned out:
For our appetizer, we made our Editor’s Sunburst Salsa; he created the recipe on the spot, and it’s a MUST try!
All of the guests at the party raved about the freshness & deliciousness of all the recipes we put together, and were able to see that each recipe was very easy, and took exactly as much time as we said it would to prepare! It was so neat to share the gift of healthy nutrition with old & new friends on this Cinco de Mayo, and also an honor to showcase a few of the awesome recipes submitted by members of our active food conscious community. And when it was all said and done, the most important part of the day was 15 people going home with the complete realization that healthy eating can be delicious, manageable, and affordable.
Since Tasty25 Magazine began in February 2012, our food conscious community has grown by leaps and bounds each day with new subscribers, great new tasty recipes, and countless messages & emails from people around the world who are truly thankful for what we do each day; we’d like to thank our fans & subscribers for this love and support you show us, and we’re excited for what’s to come.
